■한글로 '~할 때, ~하는 동안'이란 말에 해당하는 영어가 when[휀] while[화일] as[애즈]인데, 절대적이라고 할 수는 없지만, 근본적인 어감차이를 보면, when[휀]은 한 시점.한 순간을 말하는 어감이 있고, while[화일]은 '동안'이라는 기간을 말하는 어감이 있고, as[애즈]는 all so라는 말의 속성상 '~함과 동시에'라는 어감이 있고, while과 좀더 가깝다.
